“I met Melissa during a grief recovery group she was leading. I felt very safe in her presence and felt that she mastered the process of grief counseling. It was a very difficult time in my life after my sister committed suicide and I continued therapy with Melissa for another two years. She has an ability to hold the space, in a very compassionate, intuitive and insightful way. She does not hesitate to further my process by challenging me at times and also educating me in areas in which I am not well versed. She has been very available to the point of Skyping me when I am dealing with difficult family situations and I truly appreciate the feeling that should I need her she is truly there. I have grown a lot during the last years and feel very grateful that with
her support I have been able to heal, find hope and stop self destructive behaviors. I would recommend Melissa without reservation to anyone who needs a trustworthy and caring therapist.
